This week’s post is a basic 101 video to show the sales order picking process in Dynamics 365. I’ll use a very simple two line sales order picking from the pick shelf and putting the item in the bay door. I do go over the final steps of confirming the shipment, generating the packing list and invoicing the sales order.
Setup
To keep the video short I only showed the highpoints of the setup. I’ll layout all of the setup so that you can emulate my results.
Item
The Item had a pretty basic setup of a default reservation hierarchy, and a Pallet/Each Unit sequence group. The default reservation hierarchy was set as Site, Warehouse, Inventory Status, Location, and License Plate

Wave Template
The other piece of setup that I didn’t show was the wave template. A screenshot of how this was setup is below.
