Today we’re going to take a look at what the warehouse worker will do when they are not able to pick the amount of inventory that the system is requesting they pick.

We’ll first take a look at setting up work exception codes.  These codes will allow you to:

• Adjust the inventory out of the location
• Create a cycle count
• Search for a new item somewhere else in the warehouse.

After reviewing the setup we’ll take a look at three examples of short picking using work exception codes.
